Curtis and Shirley Thompson had a dream.
They wanted to make an impact in the community— and so R.L. Cole Enterprise, Inc. was born.
What started out in a basement office has become a full-blown company with ten employees, but since our very beginnings in 1993, we have never forgotten our goal to always do better than we did the day before.
We believe that our success in the construction industry is a result of our core values: safety, integrity, quality, and respect.

Rhoni Thompson, MS
Rhoni’s construction career began at 12 years old as a receptionist in her family’s construction business. She worked summers and holiday breaks, as well as after school on most nights.
“It didn’t seem like much at the time, but my learning was considerably comprehensive, all while garnering the skills to lead this business. Now as a business owner I’ve grown to understand why my parents where sticklers for doing things correctly the first time, paying attention to the details, and setting the tone/example of what you want to see from your staff.”
Rhoni holds an MS from Cleveland State University and a BA from Kent State University. Rhoni is a Business Chamber Member of the Presidents’ Council, and she participates in acting classes at The Cleveland Playhouse.
